Bio
Kristen DeBois is an Assistant Professor of Public Health Studies. She earned her PhD in Public Health Prevention Science from Kent State University's College of Public Health in 2020. Following, she worked as a research coordinator on a National Institutes of Health funded study aimed at identifying support needs of adolescents with a terminally ill parent. In 2022 she joined the Muskingum faculty, where she teaches courses in health promotion, community health, global health, and epidemiology. Her research focuses on the contextual circumstances preceding violent death.
