Bio
An Ohio native whose grandmother and her grandmother's 7 siblings all graduated from Muskingum, Dr. Baker is an off-shoot of the long Magenta Line. Dr. Baker supports traditional and non-traditional students through both face-to-face and online pedagogy as she teaches courses in Psychology and the Health Sciences. Currently she teaches Adulthood and Aging, Lifespan Development, Introduction to Psychology, Social Gerontology, and Health Policy. With several years experience in Long-term care and health care management, she supports Sociology & Public Health Studies majors. Further, Dr. Baker supports the nursing program at Muskingum in her teaching load. She is also a Licensed Social Worker in Ohio with experience in geriatric social work.
