Terra Armstead DNP, RN

* Research focus related to Primary Prevention of the Opioid Epidemic
Dr. Armstead has been practicing in the nursing profession for twenty six years. She initially started working in Long-Term Care. In 1995 she transitioned into acute care nursing working in the Emergency Department. Over the past twenty six years she remained in acute care nursing in Emergency Nursing & obtained experience in, Endoscopy, Infection Prevention, Cardiac Diagnostics and Rehabilitation, & Quality Management.
She is an instructor for Trauma Nursing Core Course, & certified in Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course, Basic Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, & Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support. She is a member of the Emergency Nurses Association, Ohio League for Nursing, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society.
Her research focus is related to Primary Prevention of the Opioid Epidemic
