hi Kappa Tau was founded on the campus of Miami University in Oxford Ohio in 1906. Four men - Taylor Albert Borradaile, William Henry Shidler, Dwight Ireneus Douglass, and Clinton DeWitt Boyd - came together to crystallize a decade old organization which was initially formed as a political organization on Miami's campus. These men realized the group had developed all the elements of a fundamental brotherhood and hence reformed the organization that would adopt the name Phi Kappa Tau in December 1916. |
