Subordinating conjunctions-1

Vom 16. September bis 3. Oktober 2006 findet das größte
Volksfest der Welt wieder auf der Theresienwiese statt.

Oktoberfest
With the traditional "Ozapft is" (the barrel is tapped) the Lord Mayor opens the Oktoberfest at 12 noon. It is also a tradition that the biggest funfair in the world takes place at the foot of the statue of Bavaria. For two weeks the visitors stream onto the fairground to try out the modern and nostalgic funfair attractions and to enjoy beer and meals to the accompaniment of Bavarian music in the beer tents.
Oktoberfest fans can be pleased this year: the Oktoberfest lasts one day longer this time round, as the Monday after the last weekend is a public holiday.
