Course Outline/Schedule

Text: The single most important item you need in order to succeed in this class is the textbook. This semester we will be using "Biological Psychology" by Kalat (9th Ed.) which can be purchased in the College Bookstore.

A student study guide and additional resources are available on-line from the publisher of the text.

Evaluation: Your grade in the class will be based on your performance on 5 exams covering material from both the text and lecture. Your regular attendance at class, attendance at special events, and contribution to classroom discussion are also important parts of this course and will directly affect your grade.

If for any reason you are unable to take a quiz or an exam at the scheduled time, it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to inform me (by phone or email) in advance. Students are expected to make arrangements with me to take the exam at an alternate time prior to the next class meeting.

Grade: The letter grade you receive will be based on a percent correct basis (of 600 possible points) using the following scale:

[Neuroscience Home Page] [Psychology Home Page] [Larry Normansell's Home Page]
