Political Science is considered a "soft" science in that there are many emotional issues and "gray" areas when discussing the issues present. This can make learning difficult at times. Many times learning can be accomplished by memorizing the information, but usually it takes the ability to analyze and apply the information (K. Buchanan, CAL).
