Baccalaureate and commencement exercises bring distinguished speakers to campus
This year’s baccalaureate service, undergraduate and graduate commencement exercises will bring a trio of distinguished speakers to Muskingum College.
Graduate commencement, to be held on Thursday, May 3 at 7:00 p.m. in Brown Chapel, will feature an address by internationally renowned glass artist Paul J. Stankard. Mr. Stankard’s work is exhibited in many of the nation’s major public art collections.
The baccalaureate service, to be held on Saturday, May 5 at 10:00 a.m. in the Recreation Center, will center on a sermon by Muskingum College Trustee Robert W. Patin. Mr. Patin is chief executive officer of CNA Life and the CNA Healthcare and Benefits Division of CNA Financial Corporation.
Undergraduate commencement exercises, to be held on Saturday, May 5 at 1:00 p.m., will center on an address by Keith Lockhart, conductor of the world-renowned Boston Pops Orchestra. Mr. Lockhart has led the Boston Pops on 29 national tours, four international tours and has performed with the orchestra at Carnegie Hall and Radio City Music Hall.
