Kappa Pi, international art honorary, establishes chapter at Muskingum
NOVEMBER 17, 2003 - Students who are majoring in art now can belong to a new chapter of an international art honorary fraternity at Muskingum College, the Zeta Alpha Iota chapter of Kappa Pi.
The chapter held its charter ceremony November 16 on the campus. The ceremony was presided over by Kappa Pi President Ron Koehler who is professor of art at Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi.
The Muskingum College chapter is sponsored by Muskingum Assistant Professor of Art Ken McCollum and Associate Professor of Art John Sun. The purpose of the group is the promote an awareness of art on campus.
In order to qualify, students must have completed at least 12 hours of art courses and must have a 3.0 overall grade point average.
Chapter officers are: President Sarah Sampson '04, Vice President Amanda McKee '04, Secretary Taumi Miller '05, and Treasurer Jonathan Verock '05.
Charter members are Jan Nicholson '04, Kelly R. Haga '04 and Angela M. Swanson '05.
