Faculty-Led Study Abroad Programs

Muskingum University recognizes that some students want an international experience but are unable or unwilling to commit to a semester or year-long program. For these reasons, Muskingum University offers a variety of faculty-led study abroad programs, which are short-term travel programs between 1 and 3 weeks, usually during school breaks. Students have the added comfort of traveling while being accompanied by experienced faculty leaders.

Students of any undergraduate academic class who have at least a 2.0 GPA and are in good judicial standing with the University may participate in faculty-led study abroad programs. For most programs, students can receive between 3 and 6 academic credits as well as fulfilling the Communication in the Global/Digital Age General Education requirement.

Faculty leaders try to keep costs low to encourage students to participate in faculty-led study abroad programs. Most often, Spring Break programs do not exceed $3,500 and May Term programs do not exceed $5,000.

Past Programs Include

Ireland, Scotland

Greece, Turkey, Italy

Germany, Czech Republic

Paris, Barcelona

Berlin, Prague, Warsaw
