Custodian– Muskingum University

Muskingum University is seeking two full-time Custodians. Under supervision, will be responsible to maintain a cleaning schedule and keep buildings of Muskingum University clean and neat. Ability to perform manual tasks requiring moderate physical strength including ability to move ladders, mop buckets and furniture; shovel and remove snow. Secretary for Nursing Department at Muskingum University.

Muskingum University seeks applicants for a full-time, 12 month, secretary for the Nursing Department. Responsibilities include:

  • Provides administrative support to the Department of Nursing (DON) administration and faculty
  • Acts as receptionist for the DON office
  • Prepares correspondence and general secretarial support for the DON Chair
  • Schedules, organizes and maintains the minutes to all DON meetings
  • Maintains current and accurate forms and brochures required for the Nursing program
  • Provides DON telephone coverage, purchase orders, check requests, faxing, copying, mail sort and distribution
  • Schedules appointments and maintains the DON calendar
  • SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
  • High school diploma, Associate’s degree in secretarial science preferred
  • Three years of office experienceStrong interpersonal skills, oral/written communication, and time management skills
  • Ability to use computer and word processing, spreadsheet and database software
  • Ability to compose and proof correspondence
  • Ability to exercise sound judgments in new situations and in dealing with highly confidential information
  • Knowledge of general office procedures
