Head Men's Lacrosse Coach

Muskingum University invites applications in the department of intercollegiate athletics for the full-time position of Head Men's Lacrosse Coach. Muskingum University is a Division III member of the NCAA and a member of the Ohio Athletic Conference. The successful candidate is responsible for the development, leadership, and administration of the men's lacrosse program. Responsibilities will include the recruitment and retention of student-athletes, scheduling, purchasing of equipment, inventories, making all travel and lodging arrangements, monitoring and nurturing student-athlete's academic and personal progress, and organization of the total program.

The position reports directly to the Director of Athletics and will include a secondary assignment dependent upon the successful candidate's credentials and expertise. Possible assignments would be athletic administration, teaching within the Health and Physical Education Department, game management, etc.

Candidates should possess a strong commitment to motivate, counsel, recruit, and to build a lacrosse program within the guidelines of Muskingum University, the NCAA, and the Ohio Athletic Conference.

Head Track & Field Coach

Muskingum University invites applications in the department of intercollegiate athletics for a full-time Head Men's &women's Track & Field coach. Muskingum University is a Division III member of the NCAA and a member of the ten school Ohio Athletic Conference. The successful candidate is responsible for the leadership and administration of the men's and women's track & field program. Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree is required; Master's Degree is preferred in Health, Physical Education, or a related field. NCAA Division III coaching and recruiting experience required.

Graduate Assistant - Track & Field

Muskingum University invites applications for a one-year with a one-year renewable contract as a graduate assistant coach in Track & Field. The position is under the direct supervision of the Director of Athletics and the Head Coach in Track & Field. Duties include assisting with all phases of the track program, plus any additional duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics. Successful candidate must have intercollegiate track and field experience.

This is a ten-month appointment which begins August 1, 2017. Position includes graduate school tuition remission for Muskingum University, monthly stipend, room and board. Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree and qualify for admission into Muskingum University's graduate school.

Candidates should possess a strong commitment to motivate, teach, counsel, and recruit student-athletes within the guidelines of the NCAA and the Ohio Athletic Conference.

Head Athletic Trainer

Muskingum University invites applications in the department of intercollegiate athletics for a full-time Head Athletic Trainer. Muskingum University is a Division III member of the NCAA, and a member of the ten school Ohio Athletic Conference. The successful candidate will provide oversight, and be a part of the professional staff providing Athletic Training Services to the student-athletes and teams of Muskingum University. Responsibilities are for the prevention, evaluation, clinical diagnosis, care, and rehabilitation of injuries to the participants in Muskingum University athletics.

This position reports directly to the Director of Athletics and Team Physician.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree is required; Master's Degree in Athletic Training is preferred; NATA-BOC certified, hold a valid license to practice Athletic Training in the state of Ohio, and CPR certified.

College coaching experience is preferred. Computer skills with Front Rush, Excel, Microsoft Word, and Hudl are also required of the successful candidate.

Muskingum University is now accepting applications for Learning Associates (tutors) part-time Muskingum University's PLUS Program. This specialized academic support program for college students with learning differences seeks personnel with backgrounds in disciplines such as social science, health, education, science, psychology, communications, English and other liberal arts. Requires minimum of Bachelor's Degree. Experience with students with learning differences a plus, but not required. Training provided.
