Lead Preschool Teacher at Muskingum University.

The Muskingum University Center for Child Development seeks applicants for a full-time, 12 month, lead preschool teacher. To serve as a primary lead teacher for preschool age children and to provide coordination and support of efforts to maintain and enhance programming for children, parents and University students in their experience.

Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education required. Must have the following forms on file to meet federal, as well as individual state requirements (i.e. Medical Statement, Statement of Non conviction, Three Childcare Employee Reference Forms, Medical Statement, Rules Review Statement, Confidentiality Statement, Communicable Disease, First Aid & Safety, CPR, Child Abuse & preventions, Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation Criminal Background Check, (BCI & FBI Fingerprints), Copy of Personal Resume, State of Ohio Department of Education Teaching License, College Transcripts, High School Diploma (or highest level of completed schooling), and maintain credentials for the position (i.e. ongoing training & renewal).

Graduate Assistant in Athletic Training at Muskingum University.

Muskingum University is now accepting applications in the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics for A Graduate Assistant in Athletic Training. As the graduate assistant in Athletic Training, the successful candidate is responsible for assigned team coverage, and all injury management including rehabilitation of assigned athletes. Additional duties include assisting with Athletic Training Room coverage, coordinating off-campus referrals and maintenance of all appropriate documentation. Staff members will also supervise the Athletic Training students assigned to them as an ATP Preceptor. Requirements include BA / BS Degree, NATA-BOC Certification and have a valid Ohio license in Athletic Training by August 1, 2015. Candidates should be able to display the ability to work independently, have strong clinical skills, show appropriate initiative, have a strong professional work ethic, and have the ability to work effectively with colleagues, medical personnel, coaches and student-athletes.

Compensation includes housing, full graduate school tuition remission at Muskingum University, a full meal plan when the food service is open and a stipend of $6,000.00. This is a ten month appointment. The employed Graduate Assistant will be issued a one-year contract renewable thru completion of the degree being pursued.

Assistant Wrestling Part-Time Coach at Muskingum University.

Muskingum University invites applications in the department of intercollegiate athletics for a part-time Assistant Wrestling Coach. Muskingum is a Division III member of the NCAA and a member of the Ohio Athletic Conference. The successful candidate is responsible to help in the recruitment and retention of student-athletes, help the head coach administer practice sessions with specific weight classes, home match management and administration, travel to all away matches, and assisting in all phases of the wrestling program. The position reports directly to the Head Wrestling Coach and Director of Athletics.

Qualifications: Undergraduate degree is preferred. Candidate should possess a strong background in wrestling, good organizational and management skills, good verbal communication, and possess a completed background check.
