Five Muskingum College students earn ECC poetry competition awards
Five Muskingum College students have received awards in the 2005 East Central Colleges Poetry Competition.
Rachel King 'O6 received third place overall for her poem, Forgotten Diet Coke and an honorable mention for her poem, Rain Rave.
The following students received honorable mentions in poetry:
Ashley Eddy '07 for Meatloaf;
Katie Kish '05 for Just Outside of Tampa on the Gulf of Mexico Three Summers Ago;
Michael Groh '06 for Lizard Party Dream;
Casey Forgrave '05 for Sunset in San German.
Founded in 1968, the ECC is a consortium of nine liberal arts colleges in Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania, including Muskingum College. Its mission is to provide experiences that develop and enrich faculty teaching and scholarship, to facilitate academic collaboration among member colleges and to foster information exchange and cooperation among administrators.
