eBook Details
You can only "check out" an eBook if you're a registered netLibrary user. (Registration is free!) Plus, by registering while on campus or while authenticated, your netLibrary account will be affiliated with Muskingum College and you will be able to login to netLibrary off-campus and still have access as if you were on campus.
Anyone can View an eBook for up to 15 minutes at a time. As long as you are actively reading the eBook (turning pages using Next and Previous) then netLibrary will allow you to continue reading in 15 minute increments.

Contents of the eBook
On the left is the Table of Contents, with links to chapters, and on the right is where the text is shown. You turn pages by using the "Next" and "Previous" buttons located in the upper right hand corner of the screen. For more advanced options (like bookmarks and notes), please contact a librarian. Note: To use these advance features, you will have to create an account.

General search screen
You can search for additional eBooks on the site. Their search screen allows you to look for eBooks by title, author, or keyword.
You can also use the Full Text search option, to search all of text of every eBook in the collection. This generally brings back the most hits. It is best to be as specific as possible, to narrow your search results.

As you can see, a Full Text search for "gettysburg" returned 670 hits.
