Ms. Emerson serves as Principal Designated School Official (PDSO) and Responsible Officer (RO) for SEVIS compliance, as Muskingum’s liaison with US Citizenship and Immigration Services and the Department of State for the F and J visa programs. In that capacity she is responsible for assisting international students and J-1 scholars with all immigration issues, including maintaining and verifying legal status. Meri Linn also manages all aspects of international recruitment and application, serves on the international admissions and financial aid committees, provides academic advising for exchange students, and administers the international admissions, immigration and study abroad portions of the Muskingum website.

In her capacity as Coordinator of Study Abroad, Meri Linn s supervises the creation and implementation of faculty-led study abroad programs and advises Muskingum students interested in semester or year-long study abroad programs, and acts as the coordinator for the East Central Colleges Consortium exchange program agreements.

Meri Linn also teaches Muskingum's courses in English as a Second Language.

Valerie coordinates and is responsible for post-arrival support and services for international students, such as housing, board, transportation, and other needs; planning and leading international student events and excursions on and off campus; manages the student services portion of the International Programs website; and is the primary responder to student crisis situations.

Ms. Williamson assists with the evaluation of proposed faculty-led study abroad programs, and with semester and year long program evaluations. She also has shared responsibility for the initial scheduling of new international students until they are assigned an academic advisor, for the academic advising of exchange students.
