MAT: Early Childhood

The theme for all Muskingum College teacher education programs is “Developing teacher-leaders who encourage, equip and empower all students.” MAT initial licensure programs are designed to prepare graduates to successfully demonstrate competence on PRAXIS III, the State of Ohio’s entry-year teacher performance assessment.

Early Childhood (61 credit hours) prepares individuals to teach children ages 3-8 (grades pre-k through third).
