Undergraduate External Scholarships
Many students receive scholarship assistance through private organizations which include schools, businesses, civic groups and churches. While most sources of such awards are found in the students local community, some are regional or even national in scope. We encourage students to seek out such additional sources of assistance, and information is usually available in high school guidance offices. Another source of such information can be found on-line at www.fastweb.com. Awards received from private sources in excess of $100 are required to be reported to Student Financial Services, though in almost all cases such awards do not affect the gift assistance previously awarded to students.
