|Transfer Student Scholarships & Awards of Circumstance
Muskingum offers academic scholarships to qualified students based on the strength of high school curriculum, grades in college-prep courses, and ACT/SAT results. The application for admission serves as the application for scholarships and awards unless otherwise noted. Students must be attending full-time and maintain a 3.0 GPA for renewal of scholarships and be making Satisfactory Academic Progress for renewal of Muskingum Awards and Awards of Circumstance.
Transfer students are considered for academic scholarships based on previous college work and, in some cases, the secondary school record. Transfer students may also apply for Science Division Scholarships and Performance Scholarships, but are not eligible to participate in the Academic Scholarship Program. The Muskingum Commitment does not apply to transfer students. The chart below can give you an estimate of your Base Scholarship Amount.

Students are responsible for letting Student Financial Services know of any External Scholarships they are receiving. The scholarships must be counted as part of their financial aid and may affect their eligibility for work-study, subsidized loans and in some cases grants or other scholarships. Students may use the External Scholarship Form to report scholarships they are receiving.
