Muskingum Programming Board
Muskingum Programming Board (MPB) is linked with the Student
Senate as the primary student
programming body on the Muskingum University campus. Consisting
entirely of students, MPB plans and implements a wide variety of events and activities
for the entire campus community. The selected leaders and volunteers
of MPB coordinate events such as: comedians, singers, bingo, movies, outdoor
recreational activities, and MuskiePalooza
(spring festival), as well as many other student-oriented activities.
At the end of Fall Semester, all MPB positions open up to student applicants. MPB consists of an executive board (President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Marketing Chair, and Student Senate Representative), and general body. The Executive Board coordinates the efforts of general body to plan events every Friday and Saturday night. Members of the general body serve in a volunteer capacity, but collaborate with the Executive Board to implement the variety of quality events hosted for the campus community every week. Involvement with MPB is a learning opportunity where students grow in areas of decision-making, leadership, negotiation, event planning, production, marketing, and more. MPB is known for hosting great events that engage in a diverse audience at Muskingum.
