Thornton named OAC Men's T&F Athlete of the Week

NEW CONCORD, OHIO, May 8, 2006 - Muskingum sophomore Dean Thornton has been named Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Track & Field Athlete of the Week.

Thornton notched his third straight win in the 100-meter dash with an NCAA automatic qualifying time of 10.57 seconds, which is currently the fifth fastest time in Division III. Also at Ohio University, Thornton won the 200-meter dash (22.17) and was on the runner-up 4x100 relay (44.13).
