Bailey named OAC Field Athlete of the Week
NEW CONCORD, OHIO, March 24, 2008 - The Ohio Athletic Conference has announced that Muskingum College freshman Demetrius Bailey has been named the OAC Field Athlete of the Week.
Bailey, in his first competition since winning the OAC Indoor triple jump championship with a school record leap, placed first in the triple jump at the Muskingum Invitational with a jump of 12.97 meters. He also claimed second in the long jump with a jump of 5.93 meters.
