Mueller named OAC Player of the Week
NEW CONCORD, OHIO, April 16, 2012 - The Ohio Athletic Conference has named Muskingum University freshman Karin Mueller the OAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week.
Mueller helped lead the Muskies to a 2-0 week of play with impressive road victories at rival Marietta College and Thiel College. Mueller, who plays first doubles and second singles, posted a combined 4-0 record against the Pioneers and Tom Cats.
She teamed with freshman Hollie Harrison to beat Marietta (8-4) and Thiel (8-3) in doubles action. In singles play. Mueller rallied from a set down to secure a 1-6, 6-3, 6-4 win against the Pioneer's Cate Gisser and disposed of Thiel's Joy Mboya, 8-0.
