Tackett named OAC Player of the Week

NEW CONCORD, OHIO, April 24, 2006 - The Ohio Athletic Conference has announced that Muskingum College junior outfielder Kim Tackett has been named OAC Softball Hitter of the Week.

Tackett batted .818 with eight runs, seven RBI and four doubles to help the Muskies secure their ninth straight OAC regular-season title. Tackett went nine-for-11 from the plate. Additionally, her strong performance propelled her to new career-highs in hits (44), runs (36) and stolen bases (11).
