Hoyt named OAC Softball Pitcher of the Week

NEW CONCORD, April 11, 2005 - The Ohio Athletic Conference has announced that Muskingum College junior All-American pitcher Erica Hoyt has been named OAC Softball Pitcher of the Week.

Hoyt went a perfect 6-0 last week with a pair of wins against #14th-ranked Mount Union. Hoyt held opposing batters to a .200 average in six games. In 31 innings of work, Hoyt allowed six runs (five earned), struck out 22 batters and had a 1.13 earned run average.
