Hoying named OAC Softball Hitter of the Week
NEW CONCORD, OHIO, May 1, 2006 -
The Ohio Athletic Conference has announced that Muskingum College sophomore catcher Kari Hoying (Russia/Russia Local) has been named OAC Softball Hitter of the Week.

Hoying batted .571 with two home runs and three doubles to help lead the third-ranked Muskies last week. Hoying went 8-for-14 with three runs and five RBI. She leads the team with eight home runs and 48 RBI on the year.
Furthermore, she is batting .500 with runners in scoring position and has logged 20 multiple hit games, 14 multiple RBI games and has a current team-high 15-game hitting streak.
This marks the second time this season that Hoying has received this honor.
