NEW CONCORD, OHIO, May 21, 2010 - The National Fastpitch Coaches Association has announced that Muskingum University junior first baseman Mary Margaret Boda was named Second Team Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division III All-American. This is the second time that Boda has been recognized as an All-American in her career (2008 - Third Team All-American).

Boda, a First Team All-Central Region honoree and First Team All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection, led the Muskies in batting average (.469), RBIs (44), doubles (17), home runs (6), triples (2), slugging percentage (.773) and on-base percentage (.560). Boda, who started every game, logged 18 multiple hit games, 11 multiple RBI games and registered a team-best 12-game hitting streak during the season.

This marks 10 out of the last 11 years that a Muskie player has earned All-American accolades. A total of 14 players have earned 23 All-American accolades under Head Coach Donna Newberry's tenure.
