Blubaugh and Hoyt named OAC Softball Players of the Week

NEW CONCORD, March 21, 2005 - The Ohio Athletic Conference has announced that senior All-American designated player Nicole Blubaugh and junior All-American pitcher Erica Hoyt have been name OAC Softball Hitter and Pitcher of the Week, respectively.

Blubaugh batted .474 in 13 games played the past two weeks. Blubaugh led the Muskies with 18 hits, 13 runs, 17 RBIs, six doubles and two home runs. Hoyt holds a 9-1 mark in 10 starts for the Muskies. Hoyt has a 0.67 ERA in 52.1 innings of work and has allowed 26 hits, 10 runs (five earned) and has 45 strikeouts. She has also pitched four complete games.
