Wilson and Langston named All-OAC
NEW CONCORD, OHIO, November 12, 2008 - The Ohio Athletic Conference has announced that Muskingum College senior defender Amy Wilson has been named Second Team All-OAC for women's soccer and that freshman forward Nicole Langston was named Honorable Mention.
Wilson, a four-year letterwinner who became the first-ever Muskie to start every game of her career, anchored Muskingum's defense from the sweeper position. Wilson ended her career with 74 starts, five goals and three assists. This marks the third time she has been honored with All-OAC accolades.
Langston led the Muskies in goals (6), points (14) and shots (54). She also tallied two assists. Langston ranked seventh in the OAC in shots per game (3.0), eighth in total shots and ninth in goals per game (0.33).
Muskingum, led by the Muskies' all-time winningest coach Mary Beth Caudill, ended the year with a record of 7-9-2, which marked its best finish since 2001, when Muskingum advanced to the OAC Tournament Final Four.
