K. Wells honored with All-OAC accolades
NEW CONCORD, OHIO, November 19, 2009 - The Ohio Athletic Conference has announced that Muskingum University junior defender Karen Wells has been named Academic All-OAC and All-OAC Honorable Mention.
Wells, a middle childhood education major, carries a 3.60 grade-point-average. She started all 19 games for the Muskies and tallied three goals on just 10 shots. She anchored the Muskies defensively from the sweeper position and in some games was used to generate offense as an attacking threat.
Wells has notched six goals and eight assists throughout her Muskie career. She is the daughter of Dave and Cathy Wells.
Muskingum is led by Head Coach Mary Beth Caudill, who is the Muskies' all-time winningest coach.
