Huffman continues summer play with Cincinnati Kings
NEW CONCORD, OHIO, June 5, 2012 - Muskingum University senior goalkeeper Hunter Huffman has signed to play with the Cincinnati Kings of the USL Premier Development League (PDL).
Huffman, who agreed to play for the Kings this summer, is a two-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference honoree who became the first-ever Muskie to be named the OAC Goalkeeper of the Year in 2010. This past season, he ranked second in the OAC in saves with 93, third in save percentage, fifth in goals against average (1.31), fifth in saves per game (4.89) and eighth in shutouts with two.
For the Kings, Huffman has started one match and recorded seven saves with a 2.00 goals against average.
The Cincinnati Kings are an American soccer team based in Cincinnati. Founded in 2005, the team plays in the USL Premier Development League, the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid, in the Great Lakes Division of the Central Conference. The PDL features 73 teams in four geographic conferences and nine divisions.
