Muskingum finishes 6th at OAC Championships
NEW CONCORD, OHIO, April 28, 2013 - The Muskingum University men's golf team finished 6th in the seven-team field at the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships at River Greens Golf Course Friday-Sunday. The Muskies finished the 72-hole event with a score of 1,285 (323-321-320-321).
Daniel Blair led the Muskies with a score of 318 (77-79-82-80) to finish tied for 21st in the 35-golfer field.
Nathan Duff carded a 322 (82-80-81-79) to finish tied for 26th. Duff recorded 41 pars, which ranked eighth in the field.
Jordan Quinn shot 324 (85-80-80-79) to place 28th. Quinn registered 42 pars, which ranks sixth at the championships.
Mat Stuart and Cooper Conrad rounded out the scoring for Muskingum. Stuart shot 329 (82-82-77-88) to finish 30th, while Conrad shot 338 (82-83-90-83) to place 32nd.
Otterbein University won the team title for the second straight year with a 1213 (302, 298, 303, 310). John Carroll's Alex DiPalma won medalist honors with a 299 (73-74-77-75)
