O'Linn named OAC Men's Golfer of the Week
NEW CONCORD, OHIO, March 31, 2008 - The Ohio Athletic Conference has announced that Muskingum College senior Tony O'Linn has been named the OAC Men's Golfer of the Week.
O'Linn led the Black & Magenta with a 145 (73-71) to finish tied for fourth at the Muskingum Spring Invitational at EagleSticks Golf Club. O'Linn recorded the second most birdies (8) in the 66-player field and was tied for the tournament lead in par 3 scoring at even and ranked eighth in par 4 scoring.
Muskingum shot a season-best two-day total 602 (305-297) and posted a season-best one-day total of 297 on Saturday to finish third in the nine-team field.
