Carpenter named OAC Football Special Teams Player of the Week
NEW CONCORD, OHIO, September 7, 2010 - Muskingum University freshman kicker Caleb Carpenter was honored for his play during the Muskies' 19-13 win against Defiance College by being named Ohio Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week.
Carpenter connected on field goals from 22 and 39 yards to help aid the Muskies' victory. His 39-yarder was the final play in the first overtime session and forced the game into double overtime. He also made one extra point and averaged 53.7 yards on three kickoffs.
