McKenzie named All-Great Lakes Region

NEW CONCORD, OHIO, March 19, 2008 - Muskingum College junior post Jessica McKenzie was honored for her outstanding season by being named to the D3hoops.com All-Great Lakes Region Second Team.

McKenzie, who earlier was named First Team All-Ohio Athletic Conference for the second straight season, averaged a double-double on the year with 16.1 points and 10.4 rebounds per outing. She led the OAC in rebounds per game and field goal shooting percentage (.638). McKenzie recorded 13 double-doubles on the season and has been recognized as the OAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week five times. She will enter her senior season with 903 career points.

A total of 659 players were nominated nationwide by Sports Information Directors. The teams were selected by Sports Information Directors in each region.
