Whiteman honored as OAC Baseball Hitter of the Week

NEW CONCORD, OHIO, March 12, 2007 - Muskingum College freshman catcher Brock Whiteman was honored for his stellar play at the Gene Cusic Classic by being named the Ohio Athletic Conference Baseball Hitter of the Week.

Whiteman led the Black & Magenta with a .476 batting average with 21 RBI and 20 hits. He also scored 14 runs and chalked up four triples, three doubles and one home run en route to a .810 slugging percentage. Additionally, Whiteman recorded two sacrifice fly's and garnered two walks.

Muskingum concluded its impressive play in Florida with an outstanding 9-1 record.
