Tomlinson honored as OAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week

NEW CONCORD, OHIO, March 26, 2007 - Muskingum College senior ace Jason Tomlinson was honored by the Ohio Athletic Conference following his three-hit, career-high 10 strikeout performance last week against Thomas More College by being named OAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week.

With his dominating performance against Thomas More, Tomlinson raised his season record to 3-0. The win also allowed Muskingum to set the school record for consecutive wins at 13. On the year, Tomlinson leads the Muskie pitching staff with a 1.50 ERA, 24 innings pitched and 25 strikeouts. Furthermore, opposing batters are hitting just .179 against him.
