Patterson named OAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week

NEW CONCORD, OHIO, May 10, 2010 - The Ohio Athletic Conference has announced that Muskingum University senior Jared Patterson has been named the OAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week.

Patterson, who went 2-0 with a 2.25 ERA last week, fired 12 innings and allowed just nine hits with 11 strikeouts. He recorded a complete game 9-2 win against Otterbein College and registered five strong innings of work in the Muskies' 19-5 victory at Baldwin-Wallace College. Patterson held hitters to a .220 batting average.
