Major Areas of Study: INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS

 

INTAFStudents majoring in International Affairs should be able to understand and analyze global conflict and cooperation through a broad interdisciplinary program.  By taking courses for the major, students will examine the historical development of regions, nations, peoples and ideologies; learn about international trade, finance, and international economic development; develop an awareness of different cultures and contemporary global concerns; hone language skills; and gain awareness of international institutions and mechanisms which facilitate or hinder global cooperation.
