Student Opportunities

Every year the department takes students to the North Central Sociological Association meetings, where several of the students present their work.

The department national honorary is AKD(Alpha Kappa Delta). Students eligible for AKD are of junior status, have at least a 3.5 overal GPA and have 15 credit hours.
