Part time (adjunct) faculty positions
We are continuously looking for highly motivated and qualified faculty who are interested in part time (adjunct) work.
The curriculum in our BSN programs is grounded in the Essentials for Baccalaureate Nursing Education (AACN 2008). We desire faculty who can articulate these values and can implement teaching plans directly supporting the Essentials.
Qualified applicants hold a minimum of a master's degree in nursing, 2 years of clinical practice in the area in which they wish to teach, and an active, unencumbered Ohio RN license. In unique situations we may hire a teaching assistant as defined by the OAC 4723-5. A teaching assistant holds a BSN with a minimum of 2 years of focused clinical practice and an active, unencumbered Ohio RN license. This individual may be required to be enrolled in a MSN or DNP program concurrently.
