Degree Requirements

Degree Requirements for All Students

A Candidate for the BSN degree must complete:

• all requirements in the major
• all requirements in the Liberal Arts Essentials
• at least 130 semester hours

In addition, a candidate must:

• have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.0 in the major as well as in all work taken at Muskingum University,
• earn a final grade of C or higher in all nursing courses; Chemistry 111, 115; Biology 121, 122, 312 and 346; Psychology 208 and English 121,
• have the last 31 credit semester hours toward graduation earned as a degree-seeking student at Muskingum University,
• satisfy the degree requirements of Muskingum University as defined in the Muskingum University Undergraduate Course Catalog or the Muskingum Adult Program: Student Guidebook (if RN-BSN Completion Track) and
• complete the “Application to Graduate Muskingum University” form.
