Muskie women show strong at NCAA Regional
NEW CONCORD, OHIO, November 10, 2012 - The Muskingum University women’s cross country team had three student-athletes compete at the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional meet at Anderson University on Saturday. The three qualifiers are the most that have qualified for the regional in Coach Jacob Gleason’s five years at the institution.
Sophomore Lincoln Green had the best performance with an overall finish of 145th with a personal-best time of 25:19. Freshman Allison Healey ran a new personal best of 25:45 to finish 161st.
Sophomore Claire Lieburn the only returning regional qualifier from last year’s team, placed 181st overall with a time of 26:18.
