Halko named Academic All-OAC
NEW CONCORD, OHIO, May 17, 2011 - The Ohio Athletic Conference has announced that Muskingum University senior Michael Halko has been named Academic All-OAC.
Halko, a biology/pre-medicine major, carries a 3.74 grade-point-average and is a two-time Academic All-OAC honoree and OAC Scholar-Athlete of the Month recipient. He is a two-time placer at the OAC Wrestling Championships and has been honored by the league with OAC Wrestler of the Week honors. Furthermore, Muskingum and the OAC recognized Halko as the Clyde Lamb Male Award recipient at Muskingum.
