Bevard and Hess named All-OAC
NEW CONCORD, OHIO, May 4, 2013 -
The Ohio Athletic Conference has announced that Muskingum University sophomore outfielder Kayley Bevard was named First Team All-OAC for softball and that sophomore catcher Jaclynn Hess was named Honorable Mention All-OAC. [2013 Softball Picture Day

Bevard led the Ohio Athletic Conference with 48 runs scored and ranked third in
batting average (.477) and third in hits (63). She started every game and set
the Muskingum record for stolen bases in a season with 21. Bevard led the
Muskies with 20 multiple-hit games and had a season-best hitting streak of 11
games.
Hess hit .421 with 46 RBIs, 10 home runs, 13 doubles and two triples. She logged an .833 slugging percentage and had a .492 on-base percentage. Hess reached base in 26 straight games, had 16 multiple-hit games, 14 multiple RBI game and had a team-best 13 game hitting streak. This marks the second straight year that Hess was named All-OAC (Second Team 2012).
