Pittner named OAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week

NEW CONCORD, OHIO, October 2, 2006 - The Ohio Athletic Conference has named Muskingum College midfielder/forward Elizabeth Pittner OAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week.

Pittner tied the Muskingum record for goals in a game with her first career hat trick in the Muskies' 4-3 overtime win over Heidelberg College. Pittner scored in the 15th and 33rd minutes and added the game-winning strike in the 92nd minute on a direct kick from the top of the box.

For the season, the junior captain has four goals and one assist for nine points. Pittner has attempted 26 shots and has played in nine contests.
