Marcinek named OAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week

NEW CONCORD, OHIO, October 2, 2006 - The Ohio Athletic Conference has named Muskingum College forward Tim Marcinek as the OAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week.

Marcinek led the Muskies to a 2-0 week by scoring four goals and adding one assist. He scored his first career strike in Muskingum's 5-2 win over Bluffton University. He also added a second tally against the Beavers. The freshman added two more goals and an assist in the Muskies' 4-1 win over Heidelberg College. Marcinek recorded the game-winning goals in both contests.

The Jackson native has played in all 10 games and has attempted 26 shots.
