McKenzie named OAC Player of the Week

NEW CONCORD, OHIO, December 15, 2008 - The Ohio Athletic Conference has announced that Muskingum College senior post Jessica McKenzie has been named the OAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week.

McKenzie averaged 21 points and 13 rebounds per game en route to leading the Muskies to a 2-0 week of play in the rugged OAC. She shot .653 (17-of-26) from the field and logged seven assists, six steals and one block throughout the week. Additionally, McKenzie eclipsed 1,000 career points and recorded a career-high 19 rebounds against John Carroll University.

This marks the sixth time McKenzie has been honored in her career as the OAC Player of the Week.
