Major Requirements
Each student majoring in Environmental Science will complete (1) The Core Courses; (2) the Environmental Applications; (3) a minimum of 8 hours of Group I electives; and (4) select a track of specialization within the major and complete courses within that track as well as the appropriate electives to compliment that track as follows:
- Biology: Environmental Science Major (79-80 hours) which includes 18 hours from Biology Track courses + 12 hours from Group II Electives
- Chemistry: Environmental Science Major (82-83 hours) which includes 21 hours from Chemistry Track courses + 12 hours from Group II Electives
- Geoscience: Environmental Science Major (80-81 hours) which includes 19 hours from Geoscience Track courses + 12 hours from Group II Electives
- Social Science: Environmental Science Major (78-79 hours) which includes 18 hours from Social Science Track + 11 hours from Group III Electives
